Daily Enrichment
During their stay, our guests will receive one-on-one attention and lots of loving cuddles to help make them feel right at home. This is if they are used to human interaction and handling. If they are not, we offer them other ways of enrichment, such as goodie bags filled with shredded paper and treats.
The menu for their stay
All Rats and Mice are provided with unlimited grassy hay (for playing in) fruit, vegetables and water on a daily basis. We use only the highest quality food for your loved one, including Timothy Hay, Oaten Hay and Oxbow pellets.
We recommend bringing along your pets staple diet and any favourite treats, as their complex digestive system can be very sensitive to change. If for some reason you are unable to supply their normal diet, we will try to replicate their diet as best we can, at no extra cost.
Their Holiday House
Our enclosures come fully furnished with soft bedding, toys, hidey huts, hay feeders and, food and water bowls. We encourage owners to bring along any creature comforts your pets may have to ensure their home away from home is as comfortable as possible.
All enclosures are cleaned twice daily.
Our guests never have to battle the seasonal elements as they are kept cool in Summer and warm in Winter using a variety of heating and cooling methods.
Intensive Care Services
We are trained and more than happy to cater to your pets special dietary and medical requirements. Intensive care services include assisted feeding, oral medications, injectable medications, as well as daily weight charts and monitoring.
Please note, we will only board your pet if it has been discharged from a veterinary clinic. We will only administer medications that has been prescribed by a veterinarian.
