Daily Enrichment
All of our bird guests are provided with at least 2 hours of daily supervised playtime with us. We have bird play perches that have natural wood perches, swings, toys, as well as food and water bowls attached. During their stay, our guests will receive one-on-one attention and lots of loving cuddles to help make them feel right at home. If your bird is not familiar with human interaction, they will receive enrichment in other ways, such as a foraging box in their cage.
The menu for their stay
Birds are provided with fresh vegetables twice a day as well as fruit and nuts as a treat. They are also provided with their staple diet, that they have access to at all times, as well as water which is changed twice a day.
Please inform us what your birds staple diet is and we can ensure we have it ready for their stay. If it is a more complex diet, we ask that you bring it along with your bird.
Their Holiday House
Our enclosures come fully furnished with natural perches, ladders, toys, and food and water bowls. We encourage you to provide any of your pets creature comforts, such as a favourite toy, to ensure their home away from home is as comfortable as possible, as well as them recognising some of the items.
All enclosures are cleaned daily and our guests are provided with fresh food and water twice daily. Our guests never have to battle the seasonal elements as they are kept cool in Summer and warm in Winter using a variety of heating and cooling methods.
We also have nightlights set up to avoid night terrors from occurring.
Intensive Care Services
We are trained and more than happy to cater to your pets special dietary and medical requirements. Intensive care services include assisted feeding, oral medications, injectable medications, as well as daily weight charts and monitoring.
Please note, we will only board your pet if it has been discharged from a veterinary clinic. We will only administer medications that has been prescribed by a veterinarian.
